Hi, We're Jason & John
We met over a decade ago in a casting session for Jason's first indie series, "He's With Me". John won the part of Jason's co-star and after 21 episodes, we discovered a mutual passion to help actors make work for themselves. Since founding Make Your Show, we have had the pleasure of offering professional guidance through our workshops, podcast, blog entries and full productions of short films and indie series.

With Jason's career as a teaching artist and John's continuing acting career, we are able to combine our unique perspectives and experience so that new producers and writers have an accessible and helpful resource that will show them the way to professional achievement.​
JASON CICCI
I've been working in the entertainment industry for 25 years as a writer, producer and teaching artist.
​
My independent production company, Monday Morning Productions, has produced new works by established playwrights featuring award-winning performers and has been a platform to produce my own works, including my debut play, A Month of Sundays, him & her and my popular web series, “He’s With Me“. The show has been nominated for numerous awards and has been chosen as official selections of the Indie Series Awards, The LA Web Fest, The Denver Film Festival, The Seattle Film Festival and the Rome Web Awards. Both seasons are currently offered on YouTube and for sale on Amazon.
“Cady Did”, the series I created with Tony Award winner Cady Huffman, was released to great fanfare and acclaim, garnering 12 Indie Series Award nominations including Best Writing for a Comedy Series (Cicci) and winning Best Comedy Series.
Onscreen works include the short films “A Conversational Place” (Best Screenplay from DAMN! Film Festival and One-Screener), "Superfriends" “Lipstick Ladies”, “Relatable Joy”, “Black Sky", and “Lip Service” among others.

A frequent guest artist, offering workshops in writing and acting, I taught Live Action Short Film at School of Visual Arts, where I also offered courses in Writing Internet Episodes and Creating a Web Series. I am also Director of MovieMaker, a program for young filmmakers. I am a graduate of the Syracuse University Drama Department.
JOHN CRAMER
I’m an actor and creator based in New York City. Thanks to my experience from having worked on hundreds of sets for TV, film, and commercial projects, I can help other actors self produce quality material that they'll be proud to share with the entertainment industry.
Projects I’ve created include: “Head Life Coach” (writer, star, director, editor, producer), “Channeled” (writer, star, director, producer), “You’re Never Ready” (writer, star, editor, producer), “Mantors” (writer, star, shooter, director, editor, producer), and “I Got You Bro” (writer, star, producer).
For Make Your Show, I have directed "In With Vinny", "Bad for Good", "The Bestie" and "Searching for Sylvie" for which I was nominated for an Indie Series Award for Best Director (Comedy).

As an actor, I've been featured in "The Leftovers", "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", "House of Cards" and "Blue Bloods", among others.
